Adaptive reuse of an 1890 elementary school into 12 distinctive residences.
Church Street transforms a former elementary school listed on the State Historic Registry into a multifamily residential building. The design preserves the exterior character and significant interior features, including original staircases, while introducing one- and two-bedroom layouts and selected multistory units. Shared amenities and a rooftop deck complement the residential program. MODE’s scope includes architectural design and selection of interior finishes and fixtures.
