An adaptive reuse and expansion that opens a neighborhood restaurant to its coastal setting.
The Atlantic House renovates an existing restaurant with a second-story addition, rooftop gathering areas, and operable glass walls. Exposed structural elements, warm natural materials, and abundant daylight draw on Atlantic Highlands’ maritime character. The design strengthens connections between indoor dining, outdoor gathering spaces, and the surrounding downtown.
